Living and working between Santa Fe and her birthplace of Rome, Italy, Dora Tass explores scientific phenomena and cultural anthropology through her artistic practice. In addition to the “dollar bills” she shows at form & concept, the artist produces holograms, showcasing the multi-dimensional qualities of historic objects.
Tass has exhibited worldwide across the U.S. and Europe, including in the Italian Pavilion of the 54th Venice Biennale. Her work is held in the collections of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the MART Museum in Italy. She holds a degree in Humanities from the University of Rome and in painting and sculpture from the Academy of Art in Rome.
