Overview

Paige Wright is a ceramicist and art educator from Portland, Oregon, whose sculpture, pottery, and adornment objects evoke her meditative studio practice. She is the co-founder of Mazama Wares, a vessel design and production house.

 

Wright holds a BFA with an emphasis in ceramics from the University of Montana in Missoula and an MFA with an emphasis in ceramics from Ohio University. Her artist residencies include the Carbondale Clay Center's long-term residency program, Red Lodge Clay Center's residency program, and the Project Network at the International Ceramics Research Center: Guldagergaard, Denmark. She has held positions at Ohio University, Grand Valley State University, The Oregon College of Arts and Crafts, Clark College, Radius Art Center, Idyllwild Arts Academy, and Pratt and Larson Tile.
