Join us to celebrate the opening of Happening, Doreen Wittenbols' first solo exhibition in New Mexico. The show furthers Wittenbols' reinterpretation of Woman's Own Book of Flower Arrangements, a housekeeping manual from the 1960s. The show explores restrictive gender roles and hegemonic cultural conditioning in Western cultures through a series of diminuitive paintings arranged in a faux kitchen installation.
