Contribute funds or garments to The Solacii Restoration Project at this special Fundraising Reception. Doors open at 5 pm, with artist performances from 5:30-7:00 pm. Performers include Tigre Mashaal-Lively, Nikesha Breeze, Lazarus Nance Letcher and more, with direction by Anastazia Louise of Bad Unkl Sista.
What to Bring
The project welcomes cash or check donations (made out to Vital Spaces), along with contributions of personal garments that Anastazia Louise will use to remake the sculpture’s majestic robes. The cloak of The Solacii was tenderly created by Anastazia from deconstructed garments and heirlooms gathered from the community, symbolizing the collective memories and stories of humanity.
About the Project
Through the end of 2021, form & concept and collaborating artists Tigre Mashaal-Lively and Anastazia Louise call on the community to rally in support of The Solacii’s restoration. Join this major fundraising campaign while the artists repair the piece with fire-retardant materials and engage the Santa Fe community. All donations are tax-deductible, made possible through our fiscal sponsor Vital Spaces.
