I think of the art that we do as an archaeological dig; we’re digging into ourselves, into a physical space, into our emotions. I’ve always thought about art that way, and I think that Ravenna echoes that process.
- Tom Osgood
In Our Place: to the moon and back on a rocketship from Rome, two new bodies of work from father-daughter duo Tom and Ravenna Osgood merge to transport viewers to a shared psychic space of creative connectivity and ultimate freedom.
This exhibition celebrates the legacy of an incredible artist, father and friend; known for his formal explorations in steel and expressive seabed paintings, Tom Osgood presents a selection of assemblage and found object works made in the process of carrying out a longterm construction project begun in 2016. His daughter, Ravenna Osgood contributes sculptural works, design objects and illustrations that explore her relationship with her late father and the formative memories that they share.
