Robert Ebendorf, Flora & Flora Brooch, 2018, Found and assembled objects
Todd Herman, CEO of Mint Museum (Charlotte, NC), announced the acquisition of over 100 pieces of work by Robert Ebendorf from the Porter-Price Collection. The works acquired encompass a six-decade career of Ebendorf and consists of jewelry, hollowware, drawings and metallic objects which mirror every period of artistic output by the retired professor of East Carolina University.
In addition to this exhaustive archive, the gift also includes works by 35 student Metal graduates from ECU who studied with Ebendorf.
